For many years, food lovers have been attracted to the Royal Bath & West Show to enjoy the artisan delights to be found within the food tent.
As always, there will also be plenty of yummy street food vendors dotted around the show, including around the Pilton Tent and on the Main Lawn – both ideal locations to sit, eat & enjoy the atmosphere of the Show.
This year the Show’s food interest is even greater, with the return of ‘The Great British Kitchen’ and appearances by celebrity chefs.
The British Cider Championships is the best place to go for award winning cider. The judging will take place during the Show, so you’ll be able to find out who has scooped the top award. And don’t miss your chance to get involved with the People’s Choice Award taking place each day!
Don’t forget to head to the Thatcher’s Bar, on Avenue B opposite the Main Ring for a refreshing pint of cider!
Good Beer Tasting with CAMRA
This tasting is the perfect crash course in the basics of beer terminology, styles and brewing techniques. Our curated selection of 5 beers showcase the diverse palette of flavours, aromas, textures and tastes that make each beer unique.
Our expert hosts will take you through the art of beer tasting as you learn to distinguish subtle notes, appreciate the aromas and understand the importance of mouthfeel. From understanding the difference between ales and lagers to decoding the mysteries of hops and malt, these tastings provide a solid foundation for your beer knowledge.
