Livestock

Agriculture has always been at the heart of the Royal Bath & West Show. Livestock Classes will be taking place across all three days in the Sheep Ring, Cattle Ring & Pig Ring. Visitors will also be able to visit the Livestock lines, so they can get up close to the animals.

Lakeside Farm is perfect for the younger family members, giving them the opportunity to get up close with farm animals and learn about the field to fork process.

Equine

If you’re visiting the Show for the Equine, you will not be disappointed, with competitions including:

  • Show Jumping (Main Ring on all three days)
  • Scurry (Main Ring)
  • Pony Club Games (heats in the Pony Club Games ring, with the finals taking place in the Main Ring across all three days)

The Festival of Heavy Horses is a new addition for the 2026 show! Visitors are able to get up close with some of the rarest and most magnificent heavy horse breeds in the UK, as well as having the opportunity to meet the owners and groomers who dedicate their time to caring for them. The festival will include a very special appearance from actor, Martin Clunes, who will officially open the Heavy Horse Village!

Dogs

Great British Dogs has been a popular exhibit ever since it was introduced in 2019. Located in the BRAND NEW Bark & West, Great British Dogs showcases rare British dog breeds that visitors can meet. Their owners will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Pawsability Dog Agility will be putting their pooches through their paces in the Main Ring with a dog agility course. We can’t wait to see who is the top dog!
