To be held during half term it is one of the oldest agricultural shows in England and the only four day Royal show, featuring the best of Great British Festival of Agriculture, Entertainment and Food and Drink.
There is a new area of Great British Food & Drink featuring music and over hundred food producers ranging from artisan food to funky street food and new Lifestyle and Gift Halls.

2016 promises to be a show of transformation with exciting changes to both features and layout. Food is at the heart of the Show and it is the chance for the consumer to meet the producer and sample some of the best of Great British Food & Drink at The British Cheese Awards and also the British Cider Championships.

The new Food & Drink area is really exciting as the Show has over hundred of the finest producers exhibiting including Westcombe Cheddar and Westaway Sausages, which you can sample at the Show and buy to take home with you plus on trend feature street food, where you can sit a savour the flavour while listening to live music under the Big Top.

The new music area is a fresh addition to the Show with acts being sourced this year by Glastonbury Founder and The Royal Bath & West of England Society President Michael Eavis. Music will take place throughout the day and into the early evening bringing a festival feel to the Showground.

Although lots of changes are taking place, the Show remains true to its roots with the finest offering of Livestock in the Country you can get.

This year on the first day of the Show it is all about the Next Generation with competitions taking place including a New Team Challenge sponsored by The Royal Agricultural University. In the Sheep Lines the Texel Focus Show will take place Thursday, Friday and Staurday in the Main Ring will be packed with Prize Winning Animals from all the Livestock section and that is an event not to be missed.

The Royal Bath and West has everything a traditional country show has always had but with 21st century twist around the corner, an exciting new main ring act which will be announced shortly.
