The Royal Bath & West Society has announced that it will not be running a Livestock Show this summer.

The Livestock Committees have decided that with a congested Shows calendar this summer, due to Covid restrictions, that a Livestock Show would not match the quality of the Royal Bath & West Show and will therefore concentrate their efforts on the Livestock section of the 2022 Royal Bath & West Show.

Head of Shows, Alan Lyons said “This has been a terribly tough decision to make when livestock are the heart of the Show, but we respect the exhibitors, judges, stewards and sponsor’s too much to deliver an inferior event. Another cause of concern was clashing with any of the excellent Shows that are held in the region, and it is the last thing we would want to do at this difficult time for Agricultural Shows.”

The team at the Showground are continuing to work on;

  • Bath & West Equine Showing Show – 21st – 22nd May 2021
  • Bath & West Country Festival – 27th – 29th August 2021
  • Dairy Show – 6th October 2021
  • Royal Bath & West Show – 2nd -4th June 2022

We look forward to welcoming you back in 2022.
