The Royal Bath & West Show returns on 1–3 June 2023, with popular features returning and new ones being introduced to appeal to young and old alike.

The Imps Motorcycle Display Team are this year’s Main Ring attraction, and will be wowing the crowds with their unmissable performances. The Main Ring will also feature daily displays from Pawsability Dog Agility, the Pony Club Games finals, Heavy Horses, and a spectacular vintage vehicle parade.

The hugely popular Pilton Tent will make a welcome return, as will the Woodland & Countryside Arena. The Arena welcomes back Great British Dogs, the Dorset Axemen and Hawkeye Falconry, amongst many other exciting attractions. Energetic members of your family can try their hand at activities in the enhanced Sports Village, which has support from Bath Rugby Foundation and Shepton Mallet Football Club; whilst the youngest members can enjoy Bubble Inc and Tractor Ted.

The Great British Kitchen enjoyed a highly successful debut show in 2022, and this year’s free-to-attend cooking demonstrations are hosted by Lisa Cadd, the ‘Fuss-Free Foodie’ alongside Cocktail mixer Andy Clarke. Matt Tebbutt of Saturday Kitchen Live and Food Unwrapped fame kicks off proceedings on 1st June, followed by ‘This Morning’s Phil Vickery on 2nd June, and finishing with a Caribbean flourish, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones MBE, ‘The Black Farmer’, on 3rd June.

Cheese lovers should head to the Cheese Marquee, a new feature for 2023, located on Avenue B opposite the Main Ring. This will showcase the best of the cheese world in the surrounding area as well as delicious cheese accompaniments, and you’ll find vendors including Barbers, Bath Soft Cheese and Stockans.

The green-fingered members of the family should also be sure to visit the new and improved Horticulture Village. There, they can enjoy the Chelsea Garden exhibit by The Newt in Somerset, a garden specifically designed for the show by Yeo Valley Organic, and new trade stands promoting horticultural products and garden furniture to enhance outdoor rooms.

Jess Chiplen, Head of Shows, says “Every member of the family will be spoilt for choice this year, with our exciting line-up of chefs in The Great British Kitchen, the new Cheese Marquee, the enhanced Sports Village, and the many shows and displays which we have lined up over the three days. We can’t wait to hear what you all think of it!”
