The Art Competition has been a feature at the Bath & West for over 100 years, with entries seemingly getting better and better each year! Both amateurs and professionals are invited to enter the popular competition, showcasing their best drawing, painting, or sculpture.

Top class honey will be on offer in the bees and honey classes, for runny, set, comb, sections, and chunk Honey. Product classes are also held for items including candles and wax flowers!

The ever-popular British Cider Championships will also be taking place at the Bath & West Country Festival, in the Orchards & Cider section. If you found a passion for Cider Making during one of the many lockdowns, why not enter? It could be just the boost your business needs or help to prove that you have created the perfect pint!

Floral Art will feature breathtaking displays, with this year’s theme as Thank You for The Music. If you think you can create a winning bouquet, then submit your entry today! Visitors to the Festival will also be able to view & enjoy the competition entries – perfect for anyone looking for a bit of floral inspiration.

The heat will be on in the Forge, as judging for Shoeing & Shoemaking competitions will be taking place. Classes will include Shoemaking, Pony, Cob & Hunter Shoeing as well as an Apprentice Class.

As always, fast paced Equine competitions will take place in the Main Ring and are sure to pull in the crowds, with competitions including Scurry, Show Jumping and Pony Club Games. The Heavy Horse Village will be located just stones-throw away and will still be joining in the fun in the Main Ring with In-Hand and Turnout Classes.
