Andy Clarke will be joining us in the Great British Kitchen at the Royal Bath & West Show 2022. As well as presenting the live cooking demonstrations on the Saturday, Andy will also be joining us in the kitchen to show us how to make the BEST cocktails! We caught up with Andy to find out more about him and what we can expect to see from him in the Great British Kitchen….

Being asked to share my love of drinks on TV. And then having my book idea published!
Tell us more about your new book….
It’s a cocktail book designed to make people happy. I want people to use the bottles they have at home to make cocktails to make them smile. I hope the reader discovers it’s not hard to fix a good cocktail! There are also some tasty and easy-to-make snacks in there too. You have to have something scrummy to line your stomach!
The main thing that I would like to get across in this book is that I want people to ‘Sip Happy’ – The idea that you should sip cocktails to celebrate rather than commiserate.
What are you looking forward to the most about this year’s Royal Bath & West Show?
I love being in the same palace as actual people, which is one of the reasons I’m looking forward to the show so much. I love talking all things food and drink with people, so I am so excited about the show!
What can we to see in your cocktail making sessions?
I will be sharing easy-to-make summer cocktails that even a cocktail-making novice will be able to make. Amongst the tips to help people entertain with drinks, I will share a classic, a twist and a totally new cocktail. I’ll also take questions from the crowd.
