Get ready for three days of creativity as the Craft4Crafters & Stitching4All Show returns to the Bath & West Showground Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st October 2026. Alongside its packed shopping halls, expert demonstrations and hands-on workshops, this year’s show brings exciting new features and even more reasons to make a day of it. Whether you’re passionate about sewing, quilting, cardmaking or simply discovering something new, there’s plenty to spark your imagination.
New for this year: inspiring talks, included in your ticket
A brand-new speaker’s programme brings together leading authors, internationally recognised designers and creative business founders for informative and entertaining talks across all three days.
Discover the stories behind remarkable textiles, hear about the journeys that shaped successful creative careers and pick up fresh ideas for your own making. Highlights include Sarah Ashford’s exploration of the historic Rajah Quilt, uncovering the extraordinary human story behind its creation.
Also joining the programme is Leigh-Anne Treadwell, founder of Bristol Upholstery Collective, who many will recognise from BBC One’s Money for Nothing. Discover her creative approach to upholstery, where traditional craftsmanship, contemporary design and a passion for sustainability come together to give furniture a new lease of life.
All talks are included in your show admission, making it easy to add a little extra inspiration to your visit.
See the extraordinary Red Dress — Saturday only
One of this year’s standout attractions is the internationally celebrated Red Dress, appearing at the show on Saturday 31st October only.
Created over 14 years, with embroidery contributed by hundreds of people across 51 countries, this extraordinary artwork brings together personal stories, cultures and traditions in one richly embroidered dress. It is a powerful celebration of craftsmanship, resilience and human connection.
Its creator and curator, Kirstie Macleod, will also be joining the show to share the remarkable journey behind the project, from its earliest beginnings to its travels around the world and the lives it continues to touch.
Seeing the dress and hearing its story are included in your admission, a special opportunity for anyone with an interest in textiles, art or the stories behind the stitches.
Explore a hall dedicated to quilts and textiles
The returning Quilt & Textile Hall will showcase over 100 quilts, including award-winning pieces from this year’s Festival of Quilts and previous years.
Take time to admire the intricate stitching, imaginative designs and beautiful use of colour, with work from talented quilt groups and celebrated textile artists. Designers will also be on hand to chat with visitors, offering a chance to discover more about the inspiration and techniques behind their creations.
Among those joining the hall is award-winning textile artist Vendulka Battais of OliVen, whose work combines intricate quilting with imaginative designs and striking surface detail. See her quilts up close, meet the maker and discover how traditional skills can be taken in exciting new directions.
Shop, discover and learn from the experts
A fantastic collection of textile and craft suppliers will bring together new products, much-loved favourites and those specialist, hard-to-find supplies that make a project possible. Browse fabrics,
