About us : Established in 1992 'Rain or Shine' is a family-run business designing and crafting traditionally made hardwood garden furniture in our own Wiltshire workshops. We produce excellent quality furniture at fantastic prices for sale direct to the public. Many items can be made to measure, including tables at any size up to 8ft x 4ft.

Construction: The furniture is made from Iroko using traditional mortise and tenon joints which are finished and fitted by hand. None of our furniture is flat-packed, mass produced or imported

The Timber : Iroko is imported from sustainable sources in West Africa. It is a very durable hardwood with a natural high oil content and can be left outside all year uncovered and will last for 30 years plus.

The Finish : Untreated the timber will weather to an attractive silvery grey colour, small cracks may appear on the furniture but this is a normal characteristic and does not affect the strength and durability. If you prefer the timbers can be treated, this will give it a golden brown colour. We supply all our furniture untreated. The furniture can be treated with Ronseal Hardwood Furniture Stain Clear (available from DIY stores). We recommend two coats when new and then one coat each year.

Delivery : we deliver nationwide, charges start from £9 with the maximum being £30.

Aftercare : We recommend to clean the furniture each year using soapy water or a jetwash. If treating the furniture gives the wood a light rub down with fine sandpaper if necessary and then re-apply Ronseal every year.
