Welcome to the Get Connected trade stand.

Originally conceived in 1992 and trading as Oasis Mobile Phones, the Company has gone from strength to strength over the last twelve years.

Trading from home, the company's founder Damian Cole, soon found that business premises were essential to expansion. With help from Caerphilly Borough Council, a small industrial unit was located in Blackwood in 1996, but a true retail presence was still missing. A limited company, Oasis Communication Services Ltd, was formed in April 1997, quickly followed in June by the first retail store on Blackwood hight street, opened by Welsh rugby star Neil Jenkins.

Many new stores and accolades have since followed. In 1998 Get Connected! won the Gwent TEC business award for marketing; in 1999 we were the 10th fastest growing company in Wales and in the following year, 2000 we were the 2nd fastest growing company from a total of 51,000 businesses!

In August 2001, the trading name changed to Get Connected! in an attempt to create a stronger brand image, with a name that reflected the true nature of the business.

We feel this has been a great success. Get Connected! is now a recognised, respected high street brand, with 23 stores and a corporate sales team, supplying mobile phones on the Orange, O2 and Vodafone networks.
