Welcome to the Somerset Ducks trade stand.

Somerset Ducks was started as a family business 22 years ago from the tiny village of North Newton, near Taunton in Somerset. It grew out of the need for farm diversification and have been supplying the likes of Harrods for over 15 years . Now, the second generation of the family have taken over the reigns, while the old’uns take a well-earned rest.
Somerset Ducks promote our products at many agricultural shows, flower shows and farmers markets. The first show we exhibited at was the Bath & West Show in Shepton Mallet. Nowadays, we attend 25 events a year, as far away as Lincoln and across to Kent. We also supply wholesalers, retailers and the catering trade.
 

 Selling directly to the public is highly rewarding as customers come specifically to visit our stand, with it’s tasty range of hot food and cold food from the display fridge. Many people tell us they stock up to ensure they have their favourite duck recipes of stuffed duck, duck breast, duck burgers and sausages, homemade pies and speciality meats. So ‘Somerset Ducks’ decided it was time we bought a computer and set-up a website where customers can visit and buy online, throughout the year.

Our speciality food includes boned, stuffed and cooked duck. We offer two highly recommended stuffings, including apricot with peppers and celery; and apple cider with honey. The stuffed ducks are perfect for dinner parties, offering 14 ample slices of tasty duck, with minimum wastage. Our duck breasts are approximately 280 - 340g (10-12 oz), with a tasty choice of marinades and flavours. The oak smoked duck breast is great as a starter or sliced to accompany a salad.
