Ewenique is a brand name of Polden Vale Sheepskin Co, a family run business in South West England. We have over 30 years experience in manufacturing the finest sheepskin and leather products, which are handcrafted by skilled craftspeople, in our rural workshop.

Our range of products includes sheepskin and leather coats, sheepskin flying jackets, sheepskin waistcoats, sheepskin gloves and mitts, sheepskin bags, sheepskin slippers and boots, sheepskin rugs and sheepskin cushions. Existing customers include boutiques, shops, department stores, famous retail outlets and fashion designers.

We are a member of the Real Sheepskin Association, which is an association for manufacturers, designers, and tanneries who work with 100% real sheepskin and has played a big part in the rise in popularity of sheepskin over recent years.

Our sheepskin and leather coats, gloves, hats, mitts and slippers are offered in our most popular colours, as there are too many to include. However if you are looking for a particular colour please contact us and we will endeavour to meet your requirements. We have always prided ourselves in the high quality of all of our sheepskin and leather products and we use only the best handpicked sheepskins and leathers. The sheepskins we use in our sheepskin products originate from the UK, Spain, Italy and Iceland.

The merino sheepskin (from Australia and tanned in Spain) is one of the most soft and lightweight skins. It produces elegant coats, which you hardly know you are wearing. Gone are the days when sheepskin coats used to be bulky and cumbersome! The Toscana sheepskin we use has an extremely luxurious skin. It originates from an Italian sheep, which has long, soft wool. Toscana sheepskin garments are extremely popular, as they look totally luxurious and glamorous.

Mongolian sheepskin, which is easily recognised with its long fluffy, crimped, looking wool, originates from Mongolia. Sheepskin cushions in Mongolian wool look beautiful and add a touch of luxury to any room. Our range has diversified over recent years and we are continuously looking for new styles and ideas.

Soft furnishings have become very popular. Our sheepskin rugs are from a local tannery in Somerset and are available in a wide range of lovely colours. We have single, double, triple and quad sheepskin rugs. We can make any size you want please contact us for details. Our sheepskin beanbags are also available in a wide range of colours and are the most comfortable ‘extra chair’ for when guests arrive, children and pets love them too!

Starting in March 2004 Ewenique has been at various country fairs, equine events, craft fairs and other prestigious events throughout the country. This is proving to be increasingly successful and it’s good to be able to meet our customers in person.
