Company Information

The Company was founded in 2003 by Peter Mitchell - a highly qualified and internationally recognised expert in cider and perry making, with over 20 years of experience and an award-winning producer in his own right.

Over the past 10 years, Peter also developed a sound reputation for work across the whole of the food and drink sector. This has included providing training, leading innovative projects in food Quality Assurance, assisting a broad range of businesses with HACCP, hygiene management, quality control and food safety. He has also undertaking work for the Food Standards Agency and Advantage West Midlands - The Regional Development Agency.

Built on this firm foundation, Mitchell F&D Limited currently provides Training for the whole of the food and drink sector. Assistance and auditing in HACCP, Hazard Analysis and Quality Assurance for all food and drink businesses. Specialist training courses and advice for large and small cider, perry and drink producers. Research and development Survey work, trouble-shooting and consultancy.
Assistance with business planning and development. Bid writing services and project development and management.

Operating out of a base in the West Midlands, UK, the Company operates throughout the UK and overseas. Recent assignments have included work in the USA, Europe and China. Carefully selected specialist Associates or partnership organisations may be involved in some assignment work if appropriate to individual circumstances.

Clients include large and small individual food and drink companies, groups of businesses and private and public sector organisations.
