Welcome to the Sleepwalkers trade stand.

We took over Sleepwalkers at the beginning of the summer and have been busily getting new stock, new ideas, a catalogue and this web site up and running. We love the original Sleepwalkers, and it would appear that you do too, so we haven’t changed those but we have added to the collection and aim to keep adding each season, so keep checking this site.

When we first saw Sleepwalkers we thought of tiny tots – nothing can be so sweet as seeing a ‘little thing’ running about in spotty Sleepwalkers. Our Graphic Designer took a pair home for a colour match and his three year old found them – we still haven’t got them back – she is pottering around in them, sleeping in them, in fact her mother is desperate to give them a wash but Catherine doesn’t seem to want to take them off!

I have three teenager daughters and they obviously play a major role in the ‘design’ side of the company. It was their idea for us to make the ‘ladies boxers’. I have to admit, they have good taste. They are great for slouching around in and sleeping in too. The cropped pjs were my idea, loads of moaning from the girls, until they arrived, at which point it was agreed that I wasn’t as ‘sad’ as they had thought!

The brushed cotton idea actually came from one of you – one of our first ‘repeat customers’ rang to make an order and asked if we could do brushed cotton pjs and T shirts. Never let it be said we don’t listen to our customers!! I have to say though, the brushed cotton is lovely; nothing nicer than curling up in cosy pjs, duvets and boxers on a cold, dark winters day or night.

I guess the most surprising request Sleepwalkers has had so far, was the phone call from a friend of ours, David. He was somewhat put out that we didn’t have a range for men. He put a strong enough case forward for us to design a pair. He was very specific about how they should be though! Pockets, drawstring and elasticated waist and a button fly – I have to admit he seems to have got it right – friends have all said that pockets are vital, elastic can’t be trusted and Velcro can be painful!!!

We have had huge fun getting the new stock out, the old stock re-made and look forward to coming up with new designs. We hope that you all enjoy Sleepwalkers as much as we all do. If you have any requests or ideas we would love to hear – go to the contact page and let us know.
