Brita Water Filter Systems Ltd is a family-owned company founded by
Heinz Hankammer in 1966 in Taunusstein, a small town near Frankfurt in
Germany.
Having found success with the concept of a domestic water filter, Brita
began exporting in 1980 and the Brita brand is now found in all five
continents around the world.
Today Brita is the UK market leader in household water filtration,
manufacturing a wide range of products for consumers and for the
catering, vending and beverage industries.
Following the success of The Brita Classic cartridge and its water
filter systems Brita is now extending its product range by launching
The New Generation of Water Filters featuring The Maxtra cartridge,
‘The New Shape of Water Filtration’. New Maxtra boasts +20% improved
limescale reduction*, significantly improving the taste and appearance
of your hot and cold drinks through the optimum removal of limescale,
chlorine and other impurities.
The new modern Elemaris jug design features a pour-through lid for
easier one-handed filling, soft-grip handle and anti-slip rubber base.
It also features ‘Memo’ the electronic cartridge exchange indicator to
remind users when to change their cartridge and water level indicators
- handy for when accurate water measurements for cooking are needed.
Elemaris and Maxtra combine to give you Brita’s Best Ever Performance.
Elemaris is available in two modern designs in a choice of black or
white:
* Elemaris XL- a large capacity, counter top water filter jug with 2.2 litre filtered capacity, 3.5 litre total capacity.
