Sarah and Andrew Balmain first established Balmain & Balmain in

1987. A family owned company, they design and manufacture classic

furniture, whilst combining traditional methods with the most up to

date technology in order to achieve the highest standards in furniture

design and making. Balmain & Balmain’s designs can now be found in

homes as far apart as Co. Cork, Invernesshire, Cumbria and Kent,

internationally Sarah and Andrew have shipped pieces to Holland,

Germany, France and Switzerland as well as Australia and the USA.

The Balmains take enormous pleasure in inviting people into their

home and the relaxed atmosphere of The Old Rectory is the ideal setting

in which to view their bespoke sofas, chairs and footstools. Sarah, who

trained as a textile designer is on hand to give expert advice on

colour and fabric choice, whilst Andrew guides you through the design

process of creating your perfect piece of furniture.
