Thrive comes to the Gardening Show

Posted: 4th Aug 2010

The National Gardening Show is delighted to welcome Thrive members to the show this year.

Thrive is small national charity that uses gardening to change the lives of disabled and disadvantaged people. Its aim is to champion the benefits of gardening, carry out research and offer training and practical solutions, thereby enabling positive change in the lives of anyone with a disability.

Thrive is supporting the Showcase Gardens display and competition, which this year will feature accessible gardens, designed in this case for people disabled by spinal cord injuries. To highlight the wonderful therapeutic benefits of gardening in helping people with disabilities, Thrive supporters are being offered a special discount by the show organisers.

To find out more, you will find details in the latest issue of the Thrive Newsletter and on the Thrive website.
