Rural Crafts, Woodlands & Wildlife
Stroll down Woodland Avenue and you'll find skilled crafts people demonstrating rural crafts such as dry stone walling, wood turning, charcoal making, timber framing and ironmongery. There's also a free programme of hands-on craft and wildlife activities plus quizzes and challenges ideal for families.
Shoeing & Wrought Ironwork
When you stand and watch the blacksmiths and farriers working at the Forge on Village Green, consider for one moment the methods you see being used. This ancient craft has changed very little over the centuries although the skills once handed on from father to son are now increasingly taught at colleges. Whatever the situation, here at the Royal Bath & West Show we pride ourselves on promoting the highest standard to be found today.
The Royal Bath & West Show is very grateful to its supporters and sponsors including Richard Ash Horseshoes and Northover Fuels.
