It is with great regret The Royal Bath & West Show has had to cancel the Poultry Competition due to disease.

Entries were and high and Poultry classes took place on Wednesday but it had brought to the attention by the Veterinary Officer that there was an incidence of Infectious Bronchitis reported.
The birds under suspicion have been removed, to avoid cross contamination.

Alan Lyons Head of Shows said “We had a great day judging on the Wednesday and with record entries, it is very disappointing for the Show and all the competitors in the Poultry Show, but we take our Bio-Security measures very seriously”

There will be poultry and other small animals on display at the Show through Sign of the Owl in the Showering Pavilion.
