STARGUIDE 60 AUTOMATIC TELESCOPE
TASCO STARGUIDE 60 COMPUTER GUIDED REFRACTING ASTROSCOPE - BRAND NEW WITH 10 YEAR WARRANTY!
A FULLY AUTOMATIC REFRACTING ASTROSCOPE WITH A MASSIVE 1800 OBJECT DATABASE, HIGH RESOLUTION WIDE ANGLE EYEPIECES AND A FULL SIZE TRIPOD.
ASTRONOMY NEEDN'T BE ROCKET SCIENCE! This outfit is designed to be up and running in minuites. So easy to use, a fully automatic hand control will find Stars, Planets, Galaxies, Nebula and Gas Clouds at the press of a button! You can even go on an automatic 'tour' of the night sky!
Once you've found an object, the battle begins to remain looking at it - because we are on a spinning planet, the object will move out of view in a very short while - this AstroScope's automatic tracking will keep the object perfectly centered, even if you stop for a coffee, the view will be there when you get back! Perfect for Astro photography.
There will be times of course when you just want to have a quick look at something - even during daytime this Telescope gives brilliant views, and the hand control can be used to swivel and tilt the telescope into any position, plus you may control tracking in any direction at almost any speed to 'scan' at your leisure.
One of the problems when manually using AstroScopes is finding the object, and staying with it, so included is the superb STARFINDER Red Dot Finderscope. This is an extremely acurate and VERY easy way to find any visible object (like a laser rifle sight).
A full size 'quick adjust' tripod with a built in holder tray, keeps the whole set up very stable, and accessories easily to hand, whilst a special 45 degree viewing mirror allows you to stand up or sit down to view in comfort . This whole set-up really is very easy to use, and can be assembled or put away in minuites.
The whole outfit includes everything you need to get started, with full instructions and 10 years manufacturers warranty.
PLUS! Starguide comes with the brilliant SkyWatch 10,000 object Astronomy Software (Worth over £50). This essentially puts the Northern and Southern night sky onto your computer. You can see the positions of constellations, galaxies nebula and LOADS more. Move into space to see the whole night sky, or zoom in to one small section and click on an object to find out about it. There's a massive amount to explore - I could go on for days - for instance information on stars, planets, constellations, comets etc. Photographs of stars, galaxies and planets. Best of all there is an excellent solar system map that displays in real time (it gets the date from your computer). Using this you can get the position, rising and setting times of the Moon, the planets and any comets that happen to be in the solar system at the time. You can print out the sky charts and there is even a night vision mode so you can load the software onto your lap top or notebook computer and actually use it in conjunction with the telescope!
