With the huge zoom ranges on modern cameras, comes the problem of keeping the image steady. So many shots and movies are spoilt by shake and camera movement, and yet if a support is to be used, it needs to be lightweight and portable - otherwise it gets left behind!

This superb unit is VERY tough, and VERY lightweight!

At full stretch the FIVE sections give a really good standing height, and when it's time to go, flip the quick locks to collapse them right down to Gadget bag size!

A very useful (and unusual) feature is the swivel head, as it allows still cameras to be used in both portrait AND landscape directions. For Video, being able to tilt the head as required is absolutely brilliant!

Another nice touch is the provision to attach a neck strap. This allows you to turn it into a 'belt pod' and wear the monopod and equipment as one very conpact support unit
