Ollie the Otter!
The Ceredigion coast is 80km long with 24 watercourses flowing into the sea. Although otters use the freshwater parts of these waterways, little is known about otter activity on the coast, and the importance of the marine environment to otters is poorly understood. PTES is helping to fund a study looking into how much otters use the marine environment in this area, what they are feeding on and where they are breeding. Part of the project involves asking people to record and send in any sightings of otters they have in the area. If you live nearby or are visiting the Ceredigion coast please download a recording form and send it to the Otter Consultancy if you spot an otter.
