Somerset Community Food Projects Network.

Somerset Community Food Projects Network is a not for profit company to advance the education of the public in Somerset in all aspects of food production, distribution, preparation and consumption in order to increase knowledge of the effects these have on human health and on the environment.

We wish to support:

* Gardeners groups to share ideas and find out more about ways to get the best from your growing space
* Neighbours and friends to form food-buying cooperatives to get affordable fresh and dried foods in bulk
* Cooking groups to swap recipes and culinary shortcuts
* Growers groups to start growing vegetables on allotments
* Schools and youth groups creating a garden or orchard at the school or in the community
* Community groups that wish to address local food issues such as lack of shops, poor school meals, access to land, etc.
