The local food delivery service provided by Somerset Farmers' Markets Ltd has expanded to cover customers in Burnham on Sea. The service, which has been operating for nearly two years, has, until recently, confined itself to an area around Glastonbury.

It has proved to be a very effective way of ensuring that a full range of local foods was available to everyone. It is attractive to those who are unable to get to a Farmers' Market. The delivery route includes all the villages along the Cheddar Valley from Wells to Axbridge, the towns of Highbridge and Burnham on Sea, and the villages between Highbridge and Glastonbury, including Mark and Wedmore.

Orders can be placed before 7 pm on a Monday for delivery on Thursday afternoon or evening.
