Sand cast in solid cast iron, including the flues. There is no weak rolled steel used. Simple assembly is required and spare parts are available on request. By its nature, cast iron will rust over time even though the surface has a high temperature paint finish. This is cosmetic and will not affect the performance of the product. To inhibit rusting, rub the chimenea with an oily rag after each use and re-paint when necessary. Intense burning on a regular basis will increase the rate at which rusting will occur.
