The Imagineering Fair returns to help Bath & West Show celebrate 150 years!

The exciting Imagineering Fair returns again to the Royal Bath & West Show with a fantastic line-up of organisations bringing scores of fun engineering and technology activities specially developed for children. Action-packed and with mind-blowing displays, there is something for everyone with opportunities to see at first hand some of the fascinating technology used in modern manufacturing and defence, that affects our everyday lives - engineering that is rarely seen by most of us. And there will be some displays reflecting engineering of the last 100-150 years

Helicopters, simulators, mechanical challenges, hands-on electronics, things to make and do; loads of fun activities and demonstrations - there is plenty to keep youngsters of all ages and abilities occupied for hours. And adults will be fascinated too! Much of the action takes place undercover so is weatherproof!

A highlight this year is the stunning BLOODHOUND Supersonic Car. Visitors can see a life size model of this jet and rocket powered racing car and learn about the international education initiative focussed around the forthcoming BLOODHOUND 1000mph World Land Speed Record attempt. The daily Imagineering Team Challenge takes place in the Imagineering Arena, with company honour at stake in a hotly contested competition.

Action-packed, full of exciting challenges with prizes to be won - this year's Imagineering Fair, together with the rest of the Royal Bath & West Show, is a fabulous family day out.

The Imagineering Fair is organised by the Imagineering Foundation, an education charity encouraging young people to consider engineering as a future career by capturing their enthusiasm at a young age, particularly through fun hands-on activities.
