The Bath & West Next Generation

The Bath and West Next Generation is a newly formed youth group linked to the Royal Bath and West Society. We are a collection of like-minded individuals with a mutual interest in agriculture and a goal of raising awareness and support for our local agricultural society, whilst encouraging the next generation to become actively involved in farming.

We encourage our members to take an active role in the Bath and West Show and also aim to organise a number of outings and talks throughout the year, including visits to local farms and agricultural enterprises. Members are also encouraged to become involved in stewarding at the Royal Bath & West Show and each year a number of members will be chosen to help steward at the show for one day and attend as a member of the public the following day, to give them a whole show experience.

Ultimately we hope to encourage the next generation in agriculture to become actively involved in the industry, to ensure continued support for The Royal Bath & West Show and to network and meet new people and friends within the industry.
