Always one of the most popular attractions at the show, the vast food halls contain a huge variety of regional treats as well as produce from further afield. This is your opportunity to taste some delicious produce and ask questions about it's originals; from Cornish Cheese to Cheddar Strawberriesand Ice Cream made on the Mendip Hills to Welsh Oggies...food lovers will be in heaven!
The Food Halls are divided into four:
Spirit of the West - as the name suggests, you'll fine regional cider, wine and beer producers here.
Exmoor Halls - home to producers from all over the UK including freshly made lemonade and pancakes
The Finest of the West - contains some of the best producers in the region including Denhay Spoiltpig, Gerald David, Thoroughly Wild Meat Company and Sheppys Cider to name but a few.

National Cheese Awards
The National Cheese Awards comprises of 67 categories including the highest number of cheddar classes in the country. Judges will be presenting the Awards on Wednesday the 29 May. Visitors will be able to enjoy an incredible diversity of cheese from dairy producers who enter the competition, not only from this country - but all over the world.
About The National Cheese Awards:
The National Cheese Awards will feature the highly competitive cheese and dairy produce classes, which attract over seven hundred entries and are judged by a panel of specially selected guest judges. In addition, the very best yogurts, butters and desserts are all displayed in the specially cooled hall.

Bees & Honey Making

With a fascinating and educational display including live demonstrations, observation hives, microscopes and much more. The perfect opportunity to taste the best honey in the West and stock up on beekeeping equipment!

Orchards & Cider
The biggest cider competition in the country and possibly the world takes place in the Orchard and Cider pavilion at The Royal Bath and West Show. Entrants from all corners of the kingdom compete for the title of Supreme Championship.
Warm and dry weather this spring has meant that the trees blossomed exceptionally early; hopefully it will bring a good harvest and some high quality cider later in the year.
