Farming for the Family

Farming for the Family will take centre stage at this years show enabling families to get a close-up farming experience. The area includes a state-of-the-art robotic milking system where cows milk themselves; a chicken hatchery, a sow and her litter of piglets, the opportunity to feed calves and an array of demonstrations such as milk tasting, a field bakery where children can make cup cakes and bread as well as 'real' farmers and vets to talk to. A firm favourite with children!

Plus, don't miss BBC Countryfile presenter and farming celebrity, Adam Henson, who will be appearing at the Show on Thursday May 31st in the Farming for the Family area.
