Dog Show

Taunton & District Canine Association hold a Premier Open show in conjunction with the Royal Bath & West Society and it is the perfect opportunity to see your favourite breeds close up, as over 1000 healthy dogs from the popular Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to the rarer Tibetan Mastiffs compete.
 
Each dog is judged according to the strict Kennel Club guidelines and the Best of Breed from selected classes such as Shetland Sheepdog, Boxer, Cocker Spaniel, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Border Terrier, Tibetan Spaniel, Whippet will qualify for Crufts 2012.
 
This year 2011 the Best In Show judge will be Mr Frederick Gadd (Gadkey) who will select from the seven Group winning dogs one dog to win the final accolade of Best in Show.

Plus on Saturday dog lovers will be treated to the ever popular antics of the agility demonstrations - always a real crowd pleaser! Watch as owners guide their dogs through the challenging helta skelta or agility courses and get involved with interactive dog training sessions designed to help you train your own pet to event standards.
