Countryside Arena

This popular area of the Show, located by the Lake, has a packed programme to entertain all the family.

Be amazed by the discipline of the dogs in the gun dog display or, in complete contrast, cheer on your favourites in the unpredictable and hilarious terrier racing!  The 'Ultimate Countryman', Chris Green, will be demonstrating his superb range of country skills and Simon Pakefield will show how working ferrets are used. 

Falconer Jemina Parry-Jones returns to the show with her awe inspiring bird of prey displays, there's a chance to meet the hounds from various West Country packs and find out why their future is so important and the Mounted and Dog Section of the Avon & Somerset Police will be performing their varied displays.

The Countryside Arena is also the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a picnic or a pint of cider in the Lakeside Tavern...a welcome opportunity to sit back and simply enjoy the scenic views of the lake or take in the displays in the arena.
