Countryside Arena

This popular area of the Show, located by the Lake has a packed programme to entertain all the family. Exmoor ponies take to the ring with a musical ride showing the adaptability of these wonderful ancient animals who are rarer than pandas!  Be amazed by the discipline of the dogs in the gun dog display or, in complete contrast to this, cheer on your favourite animals in the unpredictable and hilarious terrier and ferret racing!

The 'Ultimate Countryman', Chris Green, will be demonstrating his superb range of country skills and falconer Jemina Parry-Jones returns to the show after a number of years, so don't miss out on her awe inspiring bird of prey displays. New this year is a feature from the Mounted and Dog Section of the Avon & Somerset Police and there's a chance to meet the Hounds from various West Country packs and find out why their future is so important.

The Countryside Arena is also the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a picnic or a pint of cider in the Lakeside Tavern...a welcome opportunity to sit back and simply enjoy the scenic views of the lake, watch fly casting or take in the displays in the arena.

The Royal Bath & West Show is very grateful to Stoneleigh Lettings South Petherton for their sponsorship of the Terrier Show.
